How to Celebrate the 4th of July, Master Style

It's Independence Day and aside from the all BBQs, booze, and fireworks; I would like to recommend some other awesome things you could thrown in for the celebration!

Let's begin with cartoons. And, they don't get more appropriate then G.I. Joe. It was one of the most beloved toons of the 80s, and one of the best action figures of all time. Even better are the excellent comics or the the more mature toon G.I. Joe: Resolute, which actually had people getting killed! And, it let the Joes use guns instead of laser weapons. Avoid the terrible G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, unless you are into seeing your childhood memories be raped.

Speaking of movies, I say go with the Rambo movies. I would go with the first, second, and/ or forth one. It's always fun to see Stallone kick the baddies asses! Horror fans, please avoid seeing Uncle Sam. It's a terrible movie, and you're way better off wallowing in the ultra-violence of Rambo. Hard to believe Uncle Sam was made by William Lusting, he of Maniac, Maniac Cop Trilogy, and Vigilante fame. Then again, he did make Maniac Cop 3... You can always watch American Psycho or An American Haunting, of course. Those are actually good movies.

Perhaps you are in the mood to see guys beat the shit out of each other. In which case I say go with pro-wrestling. I would say sticking with Hulk Hogan (only as a babyface [ good guy]) and/ or Kurt Angle (as a heel [bad guy] or babyface) matches. Or, better yet the awesome matches that they had in WWE. The Real American vs. the American Hero, what the fuck more could you ask for?

Now, of course, you might need some reading material. I would go with some Captain America comics. I been a fan of Capt. since I was a kid. He remains one of my favorite heroes in the Marvel Universe. You can always delight as he battles scumbags like the Red Skull or even terrorist pieces of shit, as he did, for a while, post 9-11. I am looking forward to seeing the Capt. movie. But, I hope they do it right. Avoid at all costs ANY of the old Captain America movies, including the 90s one with the Italian (?!) Red Skull! Seriosuly, what the fuck were they thinking with that one?!

What about some tunes, now? Well, you can go with such great feeling music like: The Misfits- American Psycho, Marilyn Manson- Portrait of an American Family, Rob Zombie- American Made Music to Strip by, or GWAR- America Must be Destroyed!

Now of course, there is nothing more American than porn! So, I would definitely recommend some smut, too. Then again, in my book, any time is always a great time to enjoy pornography! This Hustler cover proves my point, does it not? Maybe, I could also recommend you popping in American Daydreams, Vol. 4?

You should also have a party and tell all the hot girls coming that they must wear bikinis with Old Glory on them. T&A and the Red, White, and Blue. What's more American than that?

Anyways, I just want to wish you all a Happy 4th of July! Have lots of fun and stay safe! And, getting back to the whole porno thing, I would like to say that one of the hottest MILFs, in the history of the world, and one of this blog's most popular babes to talk about, Vicky Vette, wants, to wish you a Happy Independence Day, too! Definitely, makes you stand in attention, does it, not?

The 10 Greatest Guy Heroes Ever

With the release of the awesome Dirty Harry DVD box set, i thought it would be fun to run through the 10 greatest guy heroes, ever. they are all badass and are a man's man. Here they go:
10. Iron Man - I could have chosen Batman, but Tony Stark is a cooler "guy hero", if only because he does not lead as a dark a view on things, he is rich, drinks (perhaps harder than anyone on this list being a recovering alcoholic and all), gets lots of hotties, has awesome battle suits to kick evil ass, plus he has a fucking porn mustache. How cool (or not) is that?!

9. Indiana Jones - OK, so the last one was kind of bleh, but ignore it. He gets hot babes and battles Nazis and evil cults and other assorted low lives. And, he does it all with a nice bit of attitude. And, yet somehow, he finds the cool artifact!

8. Marion Cobretti - What do you get when Dirty Harry meets Rambo? Why Cobretti from Cobra of course! Bad ass gun, tooth pick in mouth, and cool car, this dude is one of the coolest cops, ever!

7. Wolverine - Listen the dude kills, fucks hot babes, smokes (but can't die from cancer), has a healing factor, fucking claws come out of the back of his fists, drinks, and has a bad attitude, of course, he is on this list!

6. Snake-Eyes - Despite being mute, there is no more badass G.I. Joe than Snake-Eyes. he is a ninja, has killed lots of bad guys, and gets the hot redhead (Scarlett!). Oh, yeah and he has a pet wolf, how cool is that?!

5. John J. Rambo - In the shoot-em up world, there is no greater one-man army than Rambo. The guy can take on asshole cops, Nam, Soviet, or Burma soldiers and bury their asses. Plus, in the second one he scored a hot Asian girl. that she got snuffed is a different story, but hey, the bad guys got it for doing that. Plus, he always he has the best speeches, even with Stallone's garbled delivery!

4. The Punisher - Of all comic-book heroes none are more deadly than the Punisher. In a world were heroes allow their enemies to live, Castle puts the fuckers six-feet under. And, he has no super powers, which makes that much cooler, in my book.

3. Paul Kersey - Film's definitive vigilante, Death Wish's Kersey takes vengeance on the scum of the world. He does what many wish they could. And, how badass, and awesome, is it, when a man his age mows down scumbag punks in Death Wish III?

2. Dirty Harry - He is the work model for the loner hero. All others came from him. The cop that will do whatever it takes to kick the ass of the bad guy. He has the most bad ass lines, and is not above making a perp suffer (witness him stepping on sick-o villain, Scorpio in the classic original).

1. James Bond - He is pretty much the guy, every dude wants to be. I mean I have wanted to be Bond since I was a kid. He has a license to kill, is well dressed, beats the bad guys, gets all the girls, travels the world, saves the day, has the cool car, and the best gadgets. Do i really need to explain this one?

The Rambo Film Series

I have been a fan of the Rambo film series since I was a kid. To this day i am a huge fan of them and being that the latest just one just hit DVD I thought it would be perfect time to play tribute to them.
- From a critic's standpoint this might be the best film in the series. The acting is great and so is the action. Dennehy is great as the asshole cop. The movie is the most realistic of the series and is further helped by Jerry Goldsmith's excellent score. The fight scene in the police station is one of the best fights in cinema history and my fav scene in the film. In all one of my fav films around.

- I have seen this sequel a shitload of times since i was a kid. And, i owned the toys, the headband, everything. i would pretend I was Rambo, kicking bad-guy ass. But, the film itself has been a fav of mine since I was a kid. It is by and far the best of save the guys in Vietnam films. It also has some great, bloody squib work and racks up a massive body count. The hottie Asian babe played by Julia Nickson-Soul is easy on the eyes and a stunner. i wish she had done more films I like, but alas, she has done video game voices and appeared nude. Albeit in a piece of shit like Amityville Horror: The New Generation. Said film maybe the WORST in the series. But, hey she is nude.
Anways, getting back tot the film, I LOVE it when Sly mows down the bad guys in this film, and it never fails to get me pumped up. A personal fav of mine!

Somewhere, someone thought that a violent R-rated film would make for awesome toys. They were right! i had a bunch of them and loved them:

I remember little of the cartoon, and can't find non-parodies on youtube. But, i did find this:

- easily the worst in the series, it is not a horrid film, but rather one that feels inferior to the others. The plot of him helping the Afghans is dated and seems weird in todays world. An overall disappointment.

- the latest film is my absolute fav in the series, and my fav film of the year, so far. In fact, i think it is one of the best American action films, ever. The violence is bloody and brutal.

One of the things i liked about this film is that it made me think of the Burma people and their plight. Truth be told I had no idea about it. With the recent disaster over there, this bought back to my head. When, Rambo takes out the bad guys, they really get what they deserve, and boy do they!
I recently picked up the DVD and it is great! Ont only does the film look and sound amazing, but the extra features are awesome. Hearing how Stallone was Rambo while making this film was great. Plus, there is stuff on the weapons, the shoot, the real problems in Burma, etc. are all excellent. One of the best DVD releases, so far, this year!
