Dua ribu mahasiswa turun ke jalan-jalan ibukota Chile, Santiago, untuk memprotes presiden Cile Sebastian Pinera yang dinilai merugikan dunia pendidikan pada 7 Juli 2011 lalu. Sembari membawa aneka poster, para pemrotes saling berciuman dengan pasangan pada demo disebut 'Pesta Ciuman'.

Seperti dikutip dari BBC, aksi protes ini dimaksudkan untuk menghindari kekerasan terhadap para demonstran yang kerap dilakukan pemerintah.

"Negara ini telah melihat kami melakukan segala macam cara. Ini adalah salah satu cara yang paling lucu," kata mahasiswa kedokteran gigi, Ignacio Marchant.
