Torrid, Tight & Sexy Fashion & Concert Show- NYC

This fashion show and rock concert combined two of my fav things: beautiful women and rock music for an awesome time!!

The night of July 27th, 2011 began with alt rock band Transgenered Jesus kicking things off. Fronted by sexy, and topless (!), Anne Hanavan (who was "dressed" as a nun!), a self confessed former drug addict and prostitute, the band was fun and got things right off by rocking hard!

One of the highlights had the band doing a song dedicated to serial killer hooker Aileen Wuornos. It's was a cool song and the performance onstage was freaking awesome!

The band has a good sound to them mixing elements of rock. punk, and alt with the signer's voice reminding me of Gen of the Genitorturers, which, to me, is a very good thing!

I also enjoyed the images that flashed on the large, round balls.
In all this was a great way to start off the show!

Two hotties then, came out with hoola hoops! They were gonna go-go dance for the next part of the show, which was...
a band playing for the fashion section of it! They played a cover of Rehab by the recently passed away Amy Whinehouse.

The models soon came out, and they were really sexy, pretty, and sassy. Check out just some of the pics I took of them, that night.

They even went onstage and rocked out!!
After that we were treated to Gods Green Earth putting on a motherfucking, kick ass metal set. I never heard of them before this night, but they fucking rocked it!!!

They even did a cover of Billy Idol's classic track Rebel Yell (which happens to be my all time fav Idol song) with a cool as fuck guest vocalist.

While the band played, two sexy go-go dancers, one of them being the beautiful blonde that we saw before and the other being all around metal babe Forest of Gotham, danced their sexy butts off!

They had a good, hard sound to them. Their lyrics and stage presence was that of a fun, kick ass band. I really enjoyed seeing them perform and were one of the night's true highlights.

I got to talk a little to two of then guys in the band, and they are really cool down-to-earth dudes. I hope to see them again, in the near future. And, you totally should, as well!

In all, this was an awesome and fun night. I had a blast being there and covering it!

The Pretty Reckless at Best Buy- 3/12/2011

I first found out about the band The Pretty Reckless, via Revolver's Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock issue last year. I liked their music as soon, as I heard it. Well, that and lead signer Taylor Momsen is hot! So, imagine my joy, when I heard they were gonna be at Best Buy in Union Square in NYC (my fav place in the city, by the way) on the 12th of March! I freakin' flipped, man!!!

The CD was gonna be released. The album, Light Me Up, had been available in the UK last year. Earlier, this year it was available for download. But, this Tues, marked the official release of the CD, itself, in the US. I got there at 3:45, more or less. After finding the spot they were gonna play at, I sat down and waited. The show was gonna start at 6PM.

There were lots of fans, of different ages. Most of them of the metal/ rocker kind, of course. There were also a lot of girls in the audience, as is the case with female fronted bands, they have a strong female following, from girls who look up to her.

Anyways, they later announced that while, you could take pics of the band playing, no pics while she signed autographs. In other words, the typical crap you expect a these signings.

They came on onstage at about 6:15. It was guitarist Ben Phillips and, of course, the lovely Taylor Momsen. It was an acoustic set, and they opened up a great cover of Fiona Apple's "Criminal". While, I never liked Apple's music, that song I always did enjoy.

She then, sang three of her own songs after that. "Since Your Gone" a song I really like the lyrics to was the first on they played. Next came "Zombie", which is one of my personal fav songs on the album.
It should be noted that the audience was going crazy for her. The girls kept screaming, "I love you!" "Taylor your hot!" and even "Take it off!" Yes, girls screamed this. Not the guys, the girls! Taylor smiled a lot and seemed to be a pretty cool chick.
Of course, the outfit she had on was fucking hot! She looked gorgeous. It's always good to see hot women play hard rock.

The last song they played is my personal fav, "Make Me Wanna Die". She got up to sign this one, and asked the crowd to sign the chorus for her. It kicked fuckin' ass!!!

After that she signed the CD. It was over pretty fast, but it was awesome. Sure,I would have LOVED to get a pic with her, but regardless, I had a freakin' blast!!
I really wish this band and Taylor all the success in the world. Don't let the fact that she is only 17 (her voice is amazing and not just for her age), the controversy surrounding her sexy image (come on it's rock n' roll, ya need it to be dangerous!), or the fact that she came from Gossip Girl fool you. This babe rocks and kicks major fucking ass!

The Big Four

Last night in Chelsea I had the chance to see The Big Four (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax) on the big screen from a concert shot in Sofia, Bulgaria. I won't mince any words here, this is my dream tour, as these are my four all time favorite bands. And, I have to say that just seeing in the theatres, blew me the fuck away!

The first band to play was Anthrax. They opened with the blistering classic Caught in a Mosh. It's great to see Joey Belladonna back. He is a fun and awesome front-man. As a whole, Anthrax were definitely the fun/ party band of the bunch. They kept the audience going, and I love the way that Joey interacts with them. They even threw in a cover of the Dio era Black Sabbath classic Heaven and Hell to the mix. That fucking ruled in my book! It was a great cover! Hope they release this somehow in the future.

Next up was my personal fav of the batch, Megadeth. They were the most jaw-dropping as from a technical aspect, there are just no words to describe their talent or do them justice. If anyone asks why they are my fav band, they need to watch this, I think it makes it all clear! They opened with one of my personal favorite songs Holy Wars and just tore shit up! Mustaine is a guitar god! All fucking hail!

Next up was the most brutal performance of the night, SLAYER!!! Even the movie theater, people were standing, as they got ready to hear these lords of thrash metal. In fact, some of them even got to playing air guitar in the aisles, which continued into the Metallica set! They opened up with the modern classic that is World Painted Blood. They didn't miss a beat and the combo of King and Hanneman on dual lead guitars never fails to impress. And, Dave Lombardo remains one of the greatest drummers in all of metal. A fucking killer, Earth shaking, head ripping performance all the fucking way!

The bands dedicated this concert movie/ performance to Ronnie James Dio. And, Kerry King, Lars Ulrich, Scott Ian, and Dave Mustaine, all told great stories about him. An awesome segment and move that got me smiling and pleased all those watching.

Then the mega-stars took the stage, the mighty Metallica!!!!!!!!!!!!! They opened with my absolute all time favorite song, ever, in the form of Creeping Death!!!!!! And, even in the theater, itself, the fans chanted the infamous, "DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!" chant. It was fucking killer! They played classics from the albums of theirs that matter (IE: the first five albums and Death Magnetic). The movie audience was so into it, that two even pulled out lighters during And Nothing Else Matters! Thank God, that they played nothing from the Bob Suck (er, I mean Rock) era of shit albums (Load, Re-Load, and St. Anger). Fuck him. I hope he never produces another album in his whole entire life! Anyways, they fucking killed and this went a long way in making Metallica cool again and reaffirming their place in metal/ thrash. Their cred is back, motherfuckers! So awesome was it that they bought the other three bands, for a blistering version of Am I Evil?

I must say that it was very surreal to see Mustiane hug Lars but also cool! I'm glad that the feud is over between them, cause we got this! Metallica then closed off with two classics (Hit the Lights and Seek and Destroy) off of Kill 'Em All.

This was just amazing! And, I am still pumped because of it! Can't wait till this hits DVD. The US NEEDS this tour! If you are a true metal fan, I know you feel the same. If that is the case, then you need to join this on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/WE-WANT-AN-AMERICAN-BIG-4-STADIUM-TOUR-IN-SUMMER-2011/123843190990099?ref=mf) and make them see that you agree.

ALL HAIL THE BIG FOUR OF THRASH METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
